Halloween nails

These are a Monkey See Monkey Do (MSMD) type nails! I watch YouTube a ton for nail art and I found IHaveACupcake's channel a while back. I absolutely love her Halloween Monster Nail tutorials and she has two of them! So I did one set of monsters for each hand using both the tutorials
This is my first try at freehand nail art. I think I did pretty good for my first try and I absolutely LOVE these little monster! I've included her tutorials in the blog post so you can watch and learn as well. She made it so easy to learn and you gotta admit they are SUPER CUTE!!!! <3 <3

Make sure to check out her channel for lots of super cute tutorials!! That's all for now and hopefully soon I can put up my other mani's I've had lol. >.< I've gotten behind lol.

Breast Cancer Awareness Mani

As many of you already know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and since this is a topic near and dear to me, as my mom was a survivor of breast cancer, I've decided to do some mani's this month in honor of this and to share my support and help others be more aware of this disease.

Here are some quick facts on breast cancer:
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
Most common cancer among woman (and men) of every race and ethnicity
Breast cancer is the leading cause of death in woman ages 40-55 and the second leading cause of death in general among woman.
Every 2 minutes there is a new diagnoses.

Early diagnoses is key to treatment and survival!!

Now on to my mani for the cause!

For this mani I chose a beautiful light pink color from Avon called Cotton Candy as my base. I layered OPI's Teenage Dream over that to give it some sparkle and shine. I then stamped with the ribbons on BM-321 with China Glaze's Love's a Beach. I wish I had either chose a lighter base or maybe not put the glitter polish over it because the ribbons just weren't as noticeable as I wanted them to be, but overall I love this look. Pink is my favorite color and what's better than showing your support for something like this.

This is just the first of many mani's for the month! Stay tuned and I would love your feedback and to see any of your pink mani's for the month!

C is for...

Clouds!!!
So I'm in love with my new stamps! They turn an everyday mani into something unique and beautiful! This time I choose the cloud image on my BM-312 plate! I used 3 coats of Kleancolor Holo Blue. The blue was a little darker than I had wanted so next time I'll layer it over a lighter blue. Over all I thought it was cute and super sparkly!

Blurry shot so you can see all the sparkle!

B is for....

Bumble Bee!!! This week I again chose a neon lol. Can you tell I'm totally in love with them!!!
I did these one night when I just couldn't get to sleep, as I'm sure you can tell by the horrible clean up. Haha! I really thought I had done a better job than this. Anyway back to my art. I first started off with a base coat of white so I could really make this neon yellow pop. I then used two coats of Orly Glowstick and then stamped the beautiful bee on with my bundle monster stamps Bee- BM-301 Other design- BM-209 I used a toothpick to make the little dots around the bee! Hope you enjoy!! I'm still trying to decide what to do for the letter C. Hopefully I can come up with something good.

A is for...

A is for.... Animal Print!!!! Neon sparkly animal print to be exact lol. I'm currently part of this group on facebook called Llama Nails and we are doing the ABC's of nails. Each week you pick something that starts with the letter of that week and do a mani based on it. Animal print was the obvious choice for me and it gave me a chance to use my new Bundle Monster set I got for my birthday!
I used China Glaze's Love's A Beach and I'm With The Lifeguard to do this. I alternated between the two and then put a layer of The Color Workshop (no name) sparkly polish on top then stamped with Bundle Monster plate 221 and 223 then toped it off with another sparkly layer of polish. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think!
Ps Got this idea from Pinterest! and sorry for my short uneven nails. I'm recovering from acrylics and they keep breaking funny :(

Old Nail Art. :)

My take on Galaxy nails. I don't think I did horrible but it's not as good as other's I've saw. Still love it though. :)
This one is def not my favorite. Kinda cute. Lol I didn't wear this one for long. I used a neon blue but ended up smudging it and tried to save it by putting the blue glitter over it. Kinda worked lol >.<
This one was my def favorite one! My Neon Rainbow Zebra nails. I got so many complements on these and they lasted for weeks. Will def be redoing these with my new nail image plates. :D
